SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (May 18, 2009) – Turning a domain name into a Web site should not be intimidating – even if you don’t have any technical skills. Go Daddy’s SmartSpace makes creating a personal or potentially profit-making Web site simple for anyone with a Go Daddy domain name. SmartSpace customers can personalize their Web site with photos, videos, blogs, RSS feeds, even material from social media sites like Digg, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube.
“It was impressive to see all the different uses of SmartSpace people submitted for our contest,” said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. “As easy as this is to use, anyone who ever wanted a Web site, but was worried about having to be tech savvy to get it done, can just throw those worries out the window!”
In all, three grand prize winners were awarded $5,000 each. Another 10 runners-up were awarded $1,000 each. Go Daddy awarded all 13 winners free use of SmartSpace for life!
