I told you that there would be another Web hosting video tutorial to come out and here it is. A little shorter than the others, I think Mitch has finally found his groove. What are we talking about today? Well we are going to explain what the basic idea of bandwidth is. For those of you who might be new, let us just call it Bandwidth 101 with your teacher and Web hosting guru, Mitch Keeler.

good explanation. but Mike Web hosting companies usually use the term Bandwidth instead of Data Transfer. so he is right

Good explination however you should use the term data transfer, bandwidth doesn’t technically have anything to do with web hosting, it’s about how much an internet connection can hold e.g. I’m on 16Mbps broadband meaning I can download *UPTO* 5132.8125GB (2MBps) worth of data a month. However my upload speed is 4Mb meaning I can upload *UPTO* 1283.203125Gb (0.5MBps).
