these people are pretty cheap and very realiable, they have an uptime guarantee, most hosting providers dont bother with an uptime guarantee.Also these people are very helpful and have nice easy to use tools to help you manage your hosting. I have been using them for a few years now.

I’ve used a bunch of different services in the last 10 years. My ‘flavor’ of the year this year is HostGator.com. A little less corporate than GoDaddy, and I was able to get some “for dummies” help at 0200 in the morning on the weekend for free! Included one of the sites I host there now in the sources.
Since the domain name is the same no matter where you buy it, shop by price.
I’d recommend GoDaddy for hosting. I’ve been using them for years, and have never had a problem.
