It also gives you a chance to download the report into a pdf file if you want to keep a record per time period you want to view. Personally, I think it is a better resource to use than any other. The reason why the count is lower is because google analytics reports on unique visits, not each time your site is viewed. That’s probably what is happening with your godaddy counter. Each hit it reports is not from a unique visitor.
